Lil’ Explorers Thursdays at Como Zoo: They’re grrrrrrrr-eat.

Calling all “lil” zookeeper wannabes ages 1-3-ish! Thursday morning is your day to learn about zoo-y kind of stuff with Lil’ Explorer Thursdays at Como Zoo.

Each week in the Visitor’s Center features a different animal or plant theme with hands-on crafts, sensory tables, interactive story time, games—maybe even a furry or leafy guest. Tomorrow’s theme? Busy Bugs (so maybe, in this case, a creepy-crawly guest). Get the week-by-week theme lineup here. The program’s free, but as always there’s a suggested zoo donation of $2/adult and $1/child.

Besides that, do you ever watch the zoo webcam at night to see if the animals are having a big ol’ party while no one’s around? Um, me neither.
