16th Annual Art & Artists Celebration at Franconia Sculpture Park: Because a day of art is good for the heart.

“Lizard Lounge” by Mary Johnson.

Is your family arty? Do you like arty things like eclectic music and big outdoor sculptures? Well then hold on to your pottery wheel, I’ve got a day for you: The 16th Annual Art & Artists Celebration at Franconia Sculpture Park.

This all-day event is the gala opening for the park’s new 2012 sculptures. And if that news gets their little eyes rolling, just tell them this: Not only will there be some pretty cool sculptures OUTSIDE, there will be music (hula and limbo!), family-friendly magic and comedy from Normonzo the Great, a visit from Randy the Frog Guy, face painting ($3 or 2/$5) and make-your-own art on the painting machine ($3 or 2/$5)! Get the complete lineup here.

You couldn’t sculpt a better day.
