Let’s face it. When it comes to our kids, some things are better left to the professionals. Like shoe-tying lessons. And leave it to my pal Ellen to know about a great (and free!) one at the MOA Nordstrom.
Ellen’s review was glowing. According to her, by the end of the lesson, most of the kids had figured out how to tie their shoes. And even if they hadn’t, they still got a goody bag with a practice lace-tying card, a book, a certificate, and a copy of the little ditty to help them remember the shoe-tying steps. They also got A CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE AS BIG AS THEIR FACE.
This genius class happens every 3rd Saturday of the month. But they’re having an extra one this Saturday because the last one was so full (as of Monday there were still one or two spots available). Just call the store to register. You’ll get a confirmation email and after you RSVP, you’ll get instructions on where to park and meet.
And get ready to kiss the Velcro good-bye.
