Maybe you have a regular pool you frequent in the summer. And maybe, just maybe, you’re growing a wee tired of said pool. So maybe it’s time to switch things up and visit a different pool—you know, like a pool field trip. Maybe. Well, according to my pal Kristina, here’s a good one to try: Cascade Bay in Eagan.
According to Kristina, Cascade Bay is well cared for—very clean, lots of green space (there’s a big hill of grass by the pool). There are lots of water slides for all ages. And the lazy river is super fun; once you’re on it, you can just keep floating—no lazy-river police making you get off. Forgot your sunscreen? No problemo, there are free sunscreen dispensers located throughout the water park.
When Kristina was there, the water park had reached capacity, so they’d only let people in when people left. According to her, it was crazy-crowded, but still not uncomfortable and the bathrooms never got gross (ie: no pee smell.) Oh, and there’s a sand area with sand toys and a concession area that’s more like a cafe.
So dive in, the water’s warm (but not in that only-in-one-spot-”eww-gross!” kind of way).
