My friend Ellen used to talk about this great pool where she’d take her daughter during a special tots-only swim time. Said pool was the St. Louis Park Aquatic Park and here’s what she had to say about it (after I gave her the third degree—thanks, Ellen!):
Fear not the big-kid cannonballers. From 10 until 11 am, it’s tots-only swimming. Get your water-wing’s worth and be home in time for lunch and a nap. The pool is zero-entry (better for easing in the water-shy), there’s a little slide, splash toys, a sandy play area and plenty of wall space to practice jumping in. And for the big kids? A 25-meter lap pool, two drop slides, 4-story water slides and an aqua obstacle course.
So, gather up the sunscreen and towels. Your little fishy is waiting.
