You spent another late night with a child who’s afraid of spooky-dooky monsters. What to do, what to do…? You turn those fears into art, that’s what! Then, you submit that art to Altered Esthetics‘ annual children’s art show, Coloring Outside the Lines V: Monsters Under My Bed.
Parents and artists of all ages can participate in this free one-day exhibition to showcase children’s artwork in a gallery setting. There will be art project stations too, with activities to keep mini masterpiece-makers busy. There’s no deadline, so go ahead and submit your work right up to the day of the show (this Sunday).
Here’s what you do:
1. In the body of an email, list your name, title of your work, dimensions, medium and price (if applicable). You can also include an artist statement if you like.
2. Attach an image of your work as a jpg, gif, or png file.
3. Send the email to exhibitions@alteredesthetics.org
Don’t want to submit anything? It’s still definitely worth going to check out the monsterly-fun art.
Consider it therapy.
