Sometimes getting a sitter seems like more effort than it’s worth. First there’s the possible rejection (What do you mean you have other plans?). Then there’s the nagging feeling that you should probably clean your house (babysitter, meet dust bunnies). But if you live in Northeast Minneapolis, going out this Friday night can be as easy as drop n’ dash with the Parents’ Night Out fundraiser from Venture Crew 132 (scouting division) at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church.

No need to be a member of the church. You decide what you want to pay (but it is a FUNDraiser), then leave your potty-trained little ones in the trusted hands of the Venture Crew kids (and leaders) from 5 to 9 pm.  They’ll watch movies, enjoy snacks, maybe do an arty project, and have a ball just running amok. Don’t worry.
