Every Christmas Eve my sisters and I would plop down in front of Grandma’s apartment TV and get lost in the Sound of Music. I don’t know many little girls who don’t love that story (minus the Nazi part), and I have it on good authority (my friend and mother of two SOM-obsessed little girls, Kristina) that this weekend’s production by the Eat Street Players is a must-see.
The small theater provides an intimate setting. The acting is top-notch. And the child performers are, and I quote, “crazy good.” Also worth noting: They gave out free lemonade during intermission, but you may want to sneak in a few snacks; the production is a bit long (like the movie) and snacks make everything better.
You can order tickets three ways: Online using a credit card (you can pick your seats with this option), online without payment, or by phone (612-568-8677).
Music. Live theater. Smiling kids. These are a few of my favorite things.
