Sure, you could take the kids to the neighborhood park (AGAIN!). But let’s face it, they can do those monkey bars in their sleep. Freshen up their swinging, hanging and sliding routine and take them to the mother of all playgrounds—Hyland Play Area—or as those in the know call it: Chutes and Ladders.
This humongous, award-winning play area’s got it all: platforms, hexagonal climbers and slides up to 50 feet long. There’s also a special section for those under five or with disabilities. Your child will get lost in there (in a good way) for hours, so if you get all panicky if you can’t see them, this may not be the place for you. For those who need a potty break, there’s a nearby visitor center with restrooms, concessions and a fire place (probably won’t be needing that today).
So many playgrounds, so few warm months in Minnesota so little time…
