Midtown global goodness.

Who’s with me when I say Midtown Global Market is one of the most underrated Twin Cities attractions? Anyplace where multiple cultures convene under one roof is a-okay in my book. Not to mention all the yummy goodness—and free parking. Here are two more reasons you should love it: Wee Wednesdays and Family Fridays.

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children five and under are treated to free educational programming with hands-on activities and free lunch (with purchase of an adult meal) at participating MGM restaurants. Then Friday night, load up the mini van for Family Night 5 p.m – 8 p.m., featuring live music, a play area and free balloons for the first 50 children.

Because who says international travel with children has to be difficult?

Wee Wednesdays (FREE!)
Wednesdays (duh) 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
